>>techish talk:...............................................................
how many fonts make enough?
............................................................................................
It's what makes a computer individualized, the fonts. There's boring fonts, balloon fonts, squiggly fonts, tall fonts, skinny fonts, and just about anything inbetween. There's fonts that really aren't fonts at all, but pictures. Even if they're the coolest thing since sliced bread, how many do you really need? They make CDs that contain 1,000 different fonts, but how many of 'em are gonna be almost exactly the same? I've heard cases where a person had loaded so many fonts on their computer it started going bezurk, maybe it's a sign? "Warning: If you install another font on your computer I will blow up. Have a nice day!" <g>
• For those font freaks, who just can't get enough of them shoved into their computer, you can check out Keyword: Font while online.

he's back, and workin' fine!
............................................................................................
I promised last newsletter I'd keep you updated on my old computer problem. Well, it's alive and kickin' again like its old self. My brother got the joy of having it now, maybe I can get him addicted to the internet, eh? Like I said, it did get fixed but not without a nice big fat price tag attached to it, $240 bucks, but at least it works. If you learn anything from this story (heaven forbid you learn something outside of an educational institution), it's "don't use your recovery disk/cd (which formats your hard drive) if nothing is wrong with your computer in the first place" :)
