what kind of printer is for you?
............................................................................................

There's so many types of 'em, and you probably don't even realize it. There's ones that promise to be more quiet than the drop of a pin, ones that guarantee to print a bazillion pages a minute, and others that guarantee realistic color (but I'm wondering how realistic, 'cause it's only a piece of paper and ink for gosh sakes). Then you get to my type of printer, the old 24-pin, back in the dino age kinda printer. It's probably the loudest sucker there is, and does one page in about 2 minutes. But, heaven forbid there be any large graphics, or it'll mutilate the heck outta it, and end up coming out like one of those ink blots where you're supposed to see something in it. I don't want another printer, my reliable ink ribbon run printer is plenty.
Disclaimer:Run and grab a box of Kleenexes before reading any further.

It was bound to happen, and it did. My "baby" (my desktop) died last week. I wailed calling out "You can't go!". I was almost ready to go run for help while performing CPR but no, all I could do was just sit and watch. It had only been a year and a half old, with no warranty which was probably the biggest mistake :::sob::: Taking it to a technician he said there was nothing he could do, but I couldn't just stop there, I had to get more help. So it was taken to the Computer Gods (Circuit City) where we await it's outcome. Alright, stop wiping those pathetic eyes, there's a good point to this. I did get a new computer out of it, so no matter if it gets fixed or not I'm in good shape :::evil cackle::: I'll keep you updated on this next week.. the suspense is too much ;)
>>spotlight:....................................................................
when was the last time you were in it?
............................................................................................

Of course you've been in a normal chatroom, their almost all the same. But how many have actually step foot in an ECR, which stands for "enchanced conference room" for you who aren't so great on acronyms. Speaking of Acronyms, we have a game on acronyms, check out our schedule to see when your lucky day is to play it.. <g> Anyways back to what I was saying.

ECRs are special in the fact that the room is seperated into 2 sections, a "stage" area and then the "audience" section. Everyone wonders how you get on stage and I'm still sticking to the story that you gotta click your heels three times and do a funky rain dance. But I'm sure if you slipped me a couple hundred bucks I could find a way for you to get up there, but I'm only kidding <g>

ECR Events:Currently we have "3" chats scheduled weekly to take place in our enchanced conference room, you can check them out at the following times.

Technology Chat: Mondays @ 5:00pm Eastern (Click Here)
Programming Chat: Wednesdays @ 8:00pm Eastern (Click Here)
Mac Chat: Saturdays @ 8:00pm Eastern (Click Here)

• To reach our ECR take this path, Keyword: YTCHAT >> Chatroom! >> ECR
>>chat snipits:...............................................................

The world is full of weird people and our chatroom is no exception. Below are a few lines of chat copied from our chatroom that were really said. This only means you have to watch out what you say or it may just show up in next week's newsletter.
ytcc krazy is the lucky one this week!
............................................................................................

• What do people refer to you as?Kinzy ;) Kinz, Kinzie, Angel, Index, SillyGirl, Krazy, KinKin, Kinzi, Kinzica, Kinzomatic Railroad, Yizznick, etc :) <giggle>
• What do you like to do in your free time?I like to do my school work, catch up on some reading, talk to some friends or just rest :)
• Why did you want to be a YTCC? What is the best part of being a YTCC?YT has given me a lot of things in the past, and I've always wanted to give back, so being a YTCC was my lil' way of doing so. :) The best part is being able to be a part of the crew, and work with great people. <grin>
• Who is your role model?I have three role models, actually. :) God, my mother, and my close friend, Kelly are my role models. ;)
• Where do you see yourself in ten years? In ten years I plan to be attending college or working as a police officer or marine biologist ;) <giggle>
• What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?Hm .. <thinks> One time I was in a restaurant and I was getting some spaghetti, and it fell on my shirt. <giggle> I'm a lil' clumsy sometimes. =oP
• What do you like to do while online? When I'm not hosting, I'm just hanging around talking to my friends or typing up some eMails. :)
• What do you do in Youth Tech?Right now, I only host. :)
Do you accredit yourself with anything special?hm .. all these thinking questions =oP sheesh! I guess the only thing I accredit myself for is being a pretty good friend to *everyone,* and keeping my cool in bad situations. ;)
• If you could chat online with anyone (living, deceased, or fictional), who would it be? Why? What would you talk about? I would want to talk to the two main characters out of the book ''Don't Die My Love.'' <giggle> It sounds silly, but that's who I'd wanna talk to. :) That book really affected my life. We'd talk about everything that happened in the book and just discuss life in general ;) It's a great book, you should read it sometime! :D
