Remember when you first got online and you thought it was so cool to get your first email address? You were in heaven and no one could get you out of it, you probably even were emailing all the teachers you hated just so you could email someone semi-human (not that I'd ever do that). But, then you got greedy and wanted more power (you're so demanding), yes you wanted another email address. That was all fine and dandy, two wasn't that bad you thought, but you had to have even more. It ends up you have an email address at every place possible including the "I like blue crayons" website, more than you can count on all your fingers and toes plus a few. But in all reality do you really need all those email addresses, wouldn't your first hundred be enough to keep your happy for the next century? Sure it's tempting to have a brand spankin' new address that's number1hunk@kewlpeople.com.
MP3s: It's one of the coolest ways sound (music) is delivered through a computer file.
v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^

Last week there was a poll about MP3s and wether they should be legal or not. Many of you voted on the choice that said something like "I don't even know what an MP3 is". Well first off MP3 stands for the almighty "mpeg layer 3", which probably doesn't mean a whole lot to you or me.. but in much simpler terms (gosh aren't you glad I make things simple), it means it can take a sound file and make it 12 times smaller in size than a .wav file you're used to and it still sounds the same (yes folks, it's a miracle in itself). People have considered MP3s to even have "cd quality" sound, which is a good thing. The problem arises since it takes a semi-short time to download this sirta file format people are recording entire songs off of CDs and distributing them across the net.. which is fighting with those ever famous copyright laws.

http://www.mp3.comis a good source for more mp3 related information if you're interested. They have the whole bag of goodies plus some, check it out.
v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^
