• Buddy Lists:They're online and then off, and then they're on again.

Sometimes I think AOL would be literally unbareable without my buddy list. I mean, I find myself just starring at my buddy list for minutes on end for no particular reason, like I'm lost in space somewhere. But even though I love it, it's been kinda annoying lately. Have you ever seen your bud hop online then when you go to IM them they just sign off and hop on their other name only to your delight sign off and hop back on the name they were previously on. You're already fuming at the ears figuring out how to rid your friend for causing such a terrible disturbance, only yet to be interupted by the sound of a door slamming which indicates that same person yet again switched names. It'd maddening I tell you, and it's happening all over the world. So you calm down a little, and you're almost back to your semi human self, and decide to IM this person to find out why they can't sit still on one name for more than 3 minutes. And your conversation looks like this:
YTCC Blaze: Are you alright?
CntSitStil: Yeah, why you asking?
YTCC Blaze: 'Cause you've only like switched SNs
20 times in 5 minutes.
CntSitStil: Well I had mail, sorry!
This is about the point where it's time CntSitStil switches names again. So now ya see where I'm coming from, the horrible "can't sit still" syndrome.

• When's Fast, Fast Enough?:It's speed is fine, but ya want even more?
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Your computer handles hundreds of calculations per second, yet we all still complain in that high pitched voice "It's so slow!" So, what kinda computer would actually meet our needs? Is waiting 10 seconds to open up a program such a long period of time that we need newer and faster computers that'll open it up in 7 seconds? We keep demanding faster computers, and we keep gettin 'em (it feels good to be a lil spoiled now and then). Is there ever gonna be some kinda time where it's finally fast enough to make everyone happy that they'll be dancin' in the streets? Pentium III chips will be out soon, with the speeds of new computers averaging out around 500 MHz (I shouldn't of said that, my 200 MHz computer I rely on might just turn against me and decide to fry itself). In conclusion, (yuck, my horrible English skills are showing through) think about buying a newer computer, is it really worth spending tons 'o moola to upgrade your 350 MHz computer to a 500 MHz one, will it make that much of a difference?

Make yourself famous by submittin some funny ha has, okay maybe not famous enough to have a fan club, but pretty darn close. The number one thing requested to see in this newsletter is the Geek Humor section, and our funny well is all dried up. We need your help, we're looking for some cool computer/technology related jokes that you might have. It'd be great if you'd be willing to submit us one or two jokes related to technology, of course it's gotta be appropriate enough to make it in the newsletter.
