so microsoft likes to change their mind...
............................................................................................

Last year the big kahuna Microsoft announced that Windows98 would be the last OS of its kind that ran on MS-DOS, after that all their attention would go towards developing newer and supposedly better WindowsNT operating systems. Well, now Microsoft is singing a new tune (can't your hear the harmonious sounds?). Microsoft's President came out recently to announce a new line of Windows9.x will be ready for the public sometime next year, yup in 2000. Knowing Microsoft, it'll end up being 2001 before it comes out, but save your pennies and nickels. If you're still running Win3.1, you'll have a lot of catching up to do.

what's your plans this spring?
............................................................................................

Ahh yes, spring has arrived. The birds are chirping, the trees are sprouting leaves, and my eyes are watering and I have kleenexes all around the house because of my non stop drippey nose. The grass is knee high, well almost, which means I need to grab the lawn mower and mow my heart out, literally. But, all things must get better sometime, right? Well it does for me <smiles evily again>, I get to take a mini vacation to Cancun later next month, I can bake in the sun for a few days. What are your plans this spring? School is out in a month in a half. Will you be like me, and rot online, or you going to be more productive and do something else?

>>spotlight:....................................................................

Uncle Ben or Benny

2.What do you like to do in your spare time?
Blading, biking, writing, dreaming, listening, hugging, juggling, learning, and did I mention sleeping? :)

3.What's the best part about being a YTCC?
Learning through experience, and working with the best people you will ever meet. Oh yeah, and the cookies aren't so bad either. :)

My role model is YTCC CPU. We all wanna be like Mike because he is always easygoing, yet tough when he needs to be, and the kindest, most responsible person I have ever met. :)

5.Where do you see yourself in 10 long years?
Same place. Just better at it. (And a new car. And a big office. And and and and;)

6.What's your most embarrassing moment?
When I was talking with someone on the phone and had to stop for a moment to talk with someone else in the room. I meant to put them on hold but hit Redial by mistake and started talking about them. Then I hit Hold and said "Hello? Hello??" and hung up. Ugh!! ;x

7.What was your craziest dream about?
Just last night! I was a cop and I ended up in a virtual world. Anyone want to buy the movie rights?? :)

Yes, I sure do! But it's very confidential. (Actually I'm a major showoff and whatever I learn I brag about immediately.) ;)

9.If you were stranded on a desert island, and
could only have 3 things, what would they be?
Hmmmmm. Root Beer, notebook, and my dog. :)

10.If you could talk with anyone either dead or
alive, who would it be and why? What would you
talk about?
I would talk with my old friend and mentor to find out where he went all of the sudden. Well, you know how to find me -- say hello someday. And remember, "friends are friends no matter what." :)

A: No I do not think it's possible to keep spam away. 70
B: Yes I think it's possible & the responsiblity of the Online Service/ISP. 65
C: Yes I think it's possible & the responsiblility of the account holder to use tools such as mail block etc. 48
D: Yes I think it's possible & the responsiblility of both the account holder and the service provider working together.82
E: Yes I think it's possible & is the responsibility of the states to pass and enforce laws making it a crime. 69

While we're getting things straightened out, there will be no poll to vote on this week. We're sorry for any incovenience. Look for a new poll to vote on next week.
