I think there should be a section in the newsletter on programming. I know a lot of people who are teen programmers like myself. I think it would be great to add a section just for that. Please tell me what you think.
take a look inside the life of our own YTCC BUZZ!
by ytccbrain@aol.com
..........................................................................................

Hey everyone! Recently, I interviewed YTCCBuzz to find out some information about him! Here is what I found out:

YTCC Brain:	What is your first name?
YTCCBuzz:	That a trick question? ...Aaron
YTCC Brain:	Could be!

YTCC Brain:	What is your favorite food or "e-food"? ;)
YTCCBuzz: Hmmm.... my favorite food would have to be Spaghetti; :) e-food.. Becky's cookies...
yum!
YTCC Brain:	hehehehe :)

YTCC Brain:	What is your favorite Youth Tech area?
YTCCBuzz:	Bits Of Bytes, most definitely. Up to date news every day!

YTCC Brain:	Why did you choose the name "YTCCBuzz"? :)
YTCCBuzz: Hmmmm... interesting story. Actually, I couldn't think of a name right away, so my dad
(of all people) started giving me suggestions. Buzz was one of 'em :) So it hit me!

YTCC Brain:	Next question.. if you could have any computer in the world, what would it be? :)
YTCCBuzz:	I'd say my dream computer is the Dell Dimension XPS 300.. 300 Megahertz Pentium II
My jaw drops on that one ;)

YTCC Brain:	What are some of your hobbies and things that you like to do?
YTCCBuzz:	First and foremost, I think ya'll know I like to make web pages! In my real life, though,
I'm really involved in music. Music is cool! I play the alto sax... good instrument! And
once in a while when it snows, I'll be out there playing in it. And of course I love
AOL! I'm on all the time! :X

YTCC Brain:	And last question...What do you want to be when you grow up?
YTCCBuzz:	Oh... good question ;) But I don't wanna grow up... Cause I'm a Toys R' Us kid :) But..
probably something in the high-tech field ;) That's where I belong ;D
YTCC Brain:	Well... thank you very much Aaron for all this information!

Once again, I would like to thank Aaron for allowing me to interview him... We really appreciate it! In later issues we will be interviewing more YTCCs! :) In the meantime have fun and stay safe! :)

>> u and your parents ..............................................
should your parents really control your online time?
by who?@aol.com
..........................................................................................

How much control do you think your parents should have over you while you're online? And are Parental Controls really fair? It probably has crossed our minds before but have you ever really thought deeply about it?

Some don't have to worry because their parents don't use AOL and they aren't concerned about what their kids do online. But how about those people who do have their parents controlling them while they are online?

This is the time to speak out! For those of you who have your parents controlling you online or you don't have your parents controlling you online and just want to voice your opinion, we want to hear from you! What are your opinions on the matter?
things to do in a quiet computer lab!
by thesmirk@aol.com
..........................................................................................

1. Log on, wait a sec, then get a frightened look on your face and scream "Oh my God! They've found me!" and bolt.

2. Laugh uncontrollably for about 3 minutes & then suddenly stop and look suspiciously at everyone who looks at you.

3. Type frantically, often stopping to look at the person next to you evilly.

4. Before anyone else is in the lab, connect each computer to different screen than the one it's set up with.

5. Write a program that plays the "Smurfs" theme song and play it at the highest volume possible over & over again.

6. Ask the person next to you if they know how to tap into top-secret Pentagon files.

7. Bring a chainsaw, but don't use it. If anyone asks why you have it, say "Just in case..." mysteriously.

8. Put a straw in your mouth and put your hands in your pockets. Type by hitting the keys with the straw.

9. Try to stick a Nintendo64 cartridge into the 3 1/2 disc drive, when it doesn't work, get the manager.

10. Sit and stare at the screen, biting your nails noisily. After doing this for a while, spit them out at the feet of the person next to you.
