Diddy Kong Racing news.
By YTCCBlast@AOL.COM
========================================================================
Nintendo has come out with a surprise release just in time for the holidays! In Diddy Kong Racing, starring Donkey Kong's acrobatic young sidekick, Diddy, and all his friends dash for the finish line in this cute, but deep and exciting racing game.
Diddy Kong Racing can be considered "Mario Kart 64 and then some." Built on the same premise as Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing packs the cartoony fun everyone's grown to love but adds so much more. First of all, instead of the 2-D sprites of Mario Kart, this game is completely 3-D with beautiful polygonal graphics and fluid animation. Secondly, Diddy Kong Racing has not just one vehicle to choose from, but three essentially different ones. Pick from the regular racing kart, the hovercraft that glides easily over air and water, and the plane that can soar over any obstacle. Finally, there are more characters and more races than even Mario Kart! At least 10 racers with their own styles and about 20 unique courses are squeezed into this Nintendo 64 cartridge (which, at 128-megabits, is Nintendo's largest yet).
Look out on November 26... some racing action is coming to stores everywhere! Check Diddy Kong Racing out!

The Beatles are back?
Submitted By MuzicalOne@AOL.COM

It appears to be true! The Beatles are back!! Same old tunes, but new lyrics. Their title "Let It Be", now turned into a new song "Write In C". Enjoy!
When I find my code in tons of trouble,
Friends and colleagues come to me,
Speaking words of wisdom:
Write in C.
As the deadline fast approaches,
And bugs are all that I can see,
Somewhere, someone whispers:
Write in C.
Write in C, Write in C,
Write in C, oh, Write in C.
LOGO's dead and buried,
Write in C.
I used to write a lot of FORTRAN,
For science it worked flawlessly.
Try using it for graphics!
Write in C.
If you've just spent nearly 30 hours,
Debugging some assembly,
Soon you will be glad to
Write in C.
Write in C, Write in C,
Write in C, yeah, Write in C.
BASIC's not the answer.
Write in C.
Write in C, Write in C
Write in C, oh, Write in C.
Pascal won't quite cut it.
Write in C.
