Microsoft...violating the law?
By YTCCBrain@AOL.COM
========================================================================
Lately, Microsoft has been under a lot of criticism and investigation. First, for the Java violation with Sun MicroSystems. Now, the U.S. Department of Justice is saying that Microsoft is violating anti-trust laws. To give you some background info on what this is all about, the DOJ (Department of Justice) is saying Microsoft is forcing users of Windows 95 to use MS Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is included when you install Windows 95, but Microsoft says that it is a totally seperate program than Windows.
We at YT want to know if you think Microsoft is violating anti-trust laws. Send us your opinions, and make sure to vote in our poll. In next week's Youth Tech Newsletter, we'll include the voting results and a few of your opinions!

Top ten ways you know you're addicted to downloads
By MyGodRains@AOL.COM
========================================================================
10. Your computer is down to 15% free space-- just in your AOL download folder.
9. Your favorite download center has a limit on the amount of downloads you can perform in a day.
8. When you go to a download center on the web, it senses it's you and automatically says, "Hi, <screenname>!"
7. You number your download disks, starting at 1 every new year, and the lastest one was 6,954.
6. The only way you know to spell bite is "byte."
5. You had a super-fast download program installed in your computer.
4. When your orthodontist tells you to bite, you say, "A regular byte or a Megabyte?"
3. You fixed you computer's Scan Disk so that you can actually virus scan your download before it is downloaded, just to make sure you don't download a virus that takes up space in your computer's download area.
2. The only reason you go to the library is so you can access download sites away from home.
And the number one reason you know you are addicted to downloads--
1.You buy disks in bulk-- daily!
