~~> THE NOT-SO-NEW NEWS!

Zow, the newsletter has been a grueling project this week... YTCC Hero, while writing this newsletter earlier, he had just completed the last section, when his computer locked up... Our dear Hero had to reset his computer, erasing his unsaved newsletter... then, when he was halfway through writing it the second time, it happened again. Blammo! again he lost all his writing. Frustrated, he pressed that reset button, went to the kitchen, got something to drink and when he came back to his computer he saw that it had not booted up... something was wrong.. something horrible.. a virus perhaps? messed up system files? the world may never know... In any case, my writing this week might reflect the frazzled condition of my nerves, a result of lack of sleep, the trauma of losing hours of work *twice*, and staring at a computer screen all night... :) The moral of this story is (yes there IS a point to it): 1) Sometimes being a handsome and famous Superhero isn't everything it's cracked up to be and 2) Save your work periodically!! well, I suppose you want to read the rest of the newsletter now... We'll start this week's descent into the world of YT with:

Gamelan (pronounced GAH-meh-lahn)

Gamelan is a great site hosting the largest collection of Java Applets, JavaScripts, and everything else Java-related on the Net. I have found this site very, very useful in developing great web pages. Gamelan is organized into catagories such as Entertainment, Special Effects, and Educational. They also have a section where they have many files on how to create your own applets and scripts.

Apple Computer

Apple's main home page. The greatest place for you mac users to get the latest news about the company and it's products. The page has an excellent layout, and also lets you access Apple's Software Updates libraries. 

The Verve Pipe

The homepage of my current favorite band, The Verve Pipe. It is the best band homepage I've seen! It has excellent graphics, late breaking news about the band, downloadable songs (you can download the WHOLE ALBUM!!!), and more!!! This is an absolutly MUST SEE site!
