If you do like those little arrows that
show on your desktop and other places when you have a shortcut,
it's simple to
get rid of them forever. Just remember whenever you are
changing anything in your registry to make sure you have a backup
copy and be careful.
Go to Start>>Run>>type in regedit to get to the registry>>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile>>
Delete the IsShortcut reg value .
