Are there programs listed in your Add/Remove Programs list

other hard-to-find settings in Windows 95. The program is
called TweakUI, part of the Win95 Powertoys collection. It
allows you to remove annoying icons from your desktop (like
the Inbox, Network Neighborhood, change menu speeds, etc.)
