Your
Mac's Apple menu is a great way to keep documents and
programs handy. To place an item in your Apple menu, just drag
it (or an alias of it, aliases are explained in another
document)
into the Apple Menu Items folder. That item will then be
accessible
anytime with a simple click-and-drag!
A few example uses for this trick are:
--Quick access to your favorite programs
--Easy opening of word processing templates or
"stationery"
--Simple activation of Desk Accessories
A related tip: Add a blank space (" ") to the
beginning of the name
of an item in your Apple Menu Items folder, and it will show up
at
the top of the Apple menu!
