You probably know that you can put almost anything into your
Apple Menu folder (found in your system folder and accessed
by the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner of your desktop).
But, if you use this feature a lot it can get pretty messy in there.

You can make your the list more useable by using dividers. Here
is how it can be done:

1. open your Apple Menu Items folder in your system folder

2. make a new folder (command n)

3. name the folder ------- (or any other nice looking graphic)

4. redo steps 1-3 till you have enough dividers

5. in any graphic application (like Claris Works) make a small
    white box

6. copy the box (drag to select and command c to copy)

7. open the "get info" box of your new folders & paste your white
    box into the icon area

8. all you will see in the menu now is the ------

9. add characters to the beginning of each file & divider within
your Apple menu folder to ensure that they come up in your
    desired order
