Apple Scripting

Did you know your computer comes with a programming, or
scripting program? It's called AppleScript - it is similar to
BASIC for DOS. You can do many things with this easy,
down to earth scripting language. Empty your trash at the
double click of a program, reset your clock, and more! It
does not require you to take a class to understand how
to script with it. Open up your Hard Drive > Apple Extras
folder and you will find a folder called AppleScript. Ope
it up and there are many programs already created that
do certain things on your computer. The program Script
Editor is what you use to create an AppleScript. Be sure
that when you begin scripting, or using a script, that the
Apple Script extension is located in the Extensions Folder
(Hard Drive > System Folder > Extensions
