I downloaded a picture and from a friend on AOL, and now every time I turn on my computer I see it on my desktop. It is not supposed to be there. How can I get rid of it?

Answer:

To get rid of it you're going to need to change your display settings. To do this, go to the start menu, click Settings, then click on the Control Panel item. Then look around in the Control Panel window for the item labeled Display. Double-click the icon.

You should now see the display settings. When you open up this dialog box, you should come immediately to the Background tab. Take a look at the list box, and then choose one of the pictures to be your background. Press OK, and then it will be done.
