          When I try to open Microsoft works from my desktop, or any other area, I get the message that &quot;this program has performed an illegal operation and will be

          It appears that your Microsoft Works Program Files have become corrupted. Most likely, you did not do anything wrong :) If this program was installed when you got your computer, then I would look for an &quot;Application Recovery CD-ROM&quot; or something like that. If you bought Microsoft Works, then I would reinstall it. If this still does not fix it, then you should contact Microsoft Technical Support.&nbsp;<br>
