I was wondering what QT version I need to be able to view a movie sent to me from a Mac owner? I was told that the current version of QT for PC doesn't have some certain something ?? Can you tell me what that is ? And is it available to even have? Thanks.
Answer:

As far as I know, the latest version of Quicktime for Windows (Ver. 2.1.2) can do everything that Quicktime for Mac can. I have it installed, and can view Quicktime VR files, Quicktime movies, and can listen to Quicktime audio files. To make sure that you have the latest version, you may want to download Apple QuickTime Software. If you want to view Quicktime in your AOL web browser, click the Windows 3.1 link. If you want to view the files outside of AOL, you should get the Windows 95 version. The Easy download contains all the files necessary to view QT and QTVR files, and it also contains the
plug-in for Netscape and MSIE, as well as the AOL browser
