Question:

After I installed AOL I had to reboot my PC and lost the audio from my CD
Rom. What do I need to do to get that little speaker back in the lower right corner in the time box.

Answer:

It's impossible to lose CD Audio by installing a software program, because there is a wire that connects your CD-ROM to your sound card. It may have been muted, which can be fixed after getting the little speaker next to your clock.

To do that, click Start, point to Settings, and click on Control Panel. In the window that appears, double-click on the Multimedia icon. In the Playback section, there should be a volume slider and a check box under it. That check box will choose whether or not there's a speaker next to your clock.
