My modem manual says that you can connect 2 PCs together using modems as a terminal. I have 1 PH line between the 2 PCs, both are on the same line. I set rings to 0, and I still get no connection. Can you help?
Answer:
I think what your manual is referring to is two computers in separate locations.
You can still connect your two PCs together using a Null-Modem cable between the two PCs serial ports. These can be bought at any good computer shop for a reasonable price.
