Question:

Is it possible to connect 2 Game Pads at once? We have had the MS Sidewinder connected for a year and now would like to add the Mad Catz that came with a racing game. The MS SW is connected where it should be at the sound card. Where can I connect the second gaming device? I have Gateway P5-200. The manual shows I have another port for optional accessories. I plugged it in here but nothing seems to be happening. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

There are several solutions to this problem. First, chances are that you can't do it with what you have now, so you may have to buy an additional part to get this to work. There are Y adapters available that plug into the game port on the sound card and allow you to hook up two joysticks. However, because there is still only one game port, you may only be able to use one joystick at a time. This solution is not a perfect one, and may not work 100%. If this is the case, you may have to get a separate game card that has two joystick ports on it. One maker of such a card is Thrustmaster. Another company, CH Products, makes a Y adapter, a joystick switchbox, and a dual port game card.
