Question:
Hey I am a CAD instructor with ITT (14 M) and I want to format the hard drives on all the workstations, what would be the best way to format the drive, via DOS, if that what command should I use ex: C:\>format /s??
Answer:
I would use that format command, however I would execute it from a bootable floppy, because if you format over the system files, then it won't be able to find them to put them back on the drive.
Note: People who who has little experience in computers should NEVER attempt to reformat their Hard Drive. Always find someone who is trained in doing this!
