Question:

I have the directory C:\windows\system\tempor~1
There is never any files in it. But if I download something sometimes it goes there and the only way I can access it is to search in File manager. So is there anyway I can make it so the files are not hidden or so they show up. Also how do I make my internet downloads go to the directiry C:\AOL\DOWNLOAD. Thanks

Answer:

To set your downloads to your AOL Download directory you need to go to the Download Manager. This is located in the File menu at the top of your screen. When you are in Download Manager you need to click on Select Destination and then select the AOL\Download directory. This will set up AOL to download all files into that directory as default.
To set files not to be hidden you need to go to your View menu in Windows Explorer, then click on the Options item. Then click on Show all Files. This will make sure that none of your files are hidden. But BEWARE, doing this also stops vital system files being hidden, and you
shouldn't delete any files unless you are absolutely sure you don't need them.
