Hi, my computer is P200MMX 4.3gb, 20x cd rom, and 56i Supra Express modem. My question is ...how come my modem connects to the internet at 28800 only ?

This could be down to a few things:
1, You could only have your software set to connect at 28.8KBps, if you have it set
faster then it is probably the following...
2, Your phone line can only take a speed of up to 28800. This can be due to many
things, such as too long a modem cable between your modem and the phone line, or even a
doggy phone line itself.
There is no real way to fix this I'm afraid.
