If I want to upgrade my Motherboard which is a 486 DX4-100 to a Pentium. Do the newer boards Autoconfig as far as the Jumpers go?
Answer:
Yes, quite a few of them do.
But if you get a motherboard which doesn't then you will still find it fairly simple to change them to what you want. There are instructions with diagrams in most, if not all, motherboard manuals; follow these and you will do fine.
