Question:
I am having problems getting my joystick configured to work on my
computer. I have Win 95 it will not detect it. I do not have the system disks and no disks came with the joystick. How can I get this configured on my computer to work with my games that use a joystick?
Answer:
I do have one possible thing you could try to make it work. Go to "Start >>Settings>>Control Panel" And in the Control Panel folder double click on "add new hardware" Then have Windows search for you hardware in the "add new hardware program." If it doesn't locate it you can go back to the "do you want windows to search for your hardware" screen, And click "No". Then it will ask you to find the type of hardware you would like to install. Scroll down until you see "Sound, Video and Game
Controllers." Double click on that phrase and see if you can find the your Joystick in there. If you do, double click on it and Windows will install it for you. Good Luck.
