Question:
1. I have a 24 spin CD-ROM and a 16 bit soundblaster card. When I try to play a sound with the external speakers, it does not sound right. Sometimes the Files speak to fast to understand. When I play an audio CD, it does not come in clear, the
CD-ROM is hooked on the hard drive controller card. What can I do??

2. I have two hard drives but I cannot access the second. In the bios, there are two listed, but windows 95 does not recognize the second. Does this have something to do with the
CD-ROM hooked onto that controller card, or could it be something else?

Answer:
As far as the hard drives are concerned, my guess would be that both hard drives, as well as your CD-ROM drive, are IDE devices. You can only have two (2) IDE devices hooked up to a controller at any one time, so that's what would be causing the second hard drive to not work.

As far as part 1 is concerned, I have no idea....CD audio shouldn't sound bad unless it's the speakers; the sound card doesn't do anything to CD audio.
