Question:
Error message says printer port is busy. It isn't.
Answer:
Okay what we can do is troubleshoot :-) If you want to give a more detailed description of the problem that would help a bunch!
It does however think the printer port is in use (assuming this is a word processing program such as ClarisWorks or SimpleText). Please follow the steps below and let's see if it works out!
Goto your Apple Menu >> Chooser.
Click on the icon of your printer (name listed below)
Click on AppleTalk "Inactive"
Click on the PRINTER ICON when you select a printer port.
Than hit the SETUP button and choose your printer model
Hit OK and Close up the Chooser.
Now Restart your computer and you should be set!
