Question:
How do I find out what kind of speed my PPC has? I rented out my computer to a friend who's a Mac tech and I want to know if its possible for him to take my CPU chip out and replace it w/ out me knowing w/ a slower one, if so how do I find out if he has switched it? HELP!

Whew! I hope that your "friend" first of all has not done this, and if s/he has you should contact Apple Computer, INC immediately as they can double-check and possibly tell you what your next course of action should be!
Apple System Profiler is a free utility that just came out, comes with MacOS 7.6.1 and MacOS 8.... but you can download it for free.
