Make file
extensions visible:
Make the extensions
visible so you can tell what kind of file you're about to execute.
Open my computer
Select Folder Options from the tools menu
Click on the View tab
Uncheck the Hide Extension for Known File Type. -->Mac
Tip: OS X- Make File extensions
visible:
Make
the extensions visible so you can tell what kind of file you're
about to execute.
Select Preferences from the Finder menu and check the Always Show
File Extensions box.
