Construction of the International Space Station began - 1998

On November 20th, 1998 the International Space Stations first Module was
on it's way. Launched from the United States, it marked the beginning of
what promises to shine new hope among the countries involved!!!

There are concerns though - as if it's safe, is there enough money, do we
really need one? Yes, I believe, is the answer to all of these questions!!
Even though having a space station is a grave risk, we would not put the
worlds finest astronauts at risk. There is always enough money, I think,
because with all of the governments together, we have more than enough.
And do we need one? Yes. I think that it will be a great thing to better the
relationships between the countries involved.

There have been a few problems with the station already, but they weren't
anything that could not be repaired. Everything should be working now as
they continue their building. The only thing we can do now is wait and watch!
