Drivers included with Windows XP use signatures to
indicate they've been tested by Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).
However, many third party programs are written for XP and need to
install additional drivers which may have not been tested by the
WHQL and as a result don't receive a signature.
Note: Many video drivers are not digitally signed. Removing
video drivers may cause problems with your resolution or in some
cases may not allow you to start your computer. To view the list
of current Video drivers so you know which not to remove..
1) Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Performance and
Maintenance (System Control Panel if you're using classic view.) >
System

2) Click the Hardware Tab then click the Device Manager button
in the mid-right.

3) The Device Manager will launch. Navigate to and expand
(click the +) next to Display Adapters. In my case my display
adapter is NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti200.

4) Double click the listed device. It's properties window will
appear. Click the Driver Tab. Then Click the Driver Details
Button.
5) Another window will appear listing all of the drivers
associated with this device. It may be a good idea to write them
down so you have them handy in the event they're listed as
unsigned.
