Right Clicking on any
empty space on your desktop and selecting Properties from the
sub menu will bring up the Display Properties
screen. You will notice there are seven different tabs
there from
which you can do many different things. On the following
pages we
will go over each different aspect of the Display Properties Box
.
Background: The first
tab is the Background Tab. This is where
you
can select your desktop wallpaper or turn wallpaper off if you
don't want any. You can choose
a windows wallpaper from the list
or use the Browse button
to locate and select another BMP from
anywhere on your hard
drive that you may want to use. The Pattern
button on
the right lets you
choose how any leftover space on your
desktop around the wallpaper will look. You can choose from a list
of
things like bricks, buttons, cobblestones and more. You can
also use the Display setting on the right to choose
to Center, Tile
or Stretch your wallpaper. You will be
able to see how each different thing you change and select
will effect your desktop in
the screen there before you
choose to apply it. Play around with
different styles and settings to find the look you like. There are
many
different combinations you can come up with.
