Regional Settings Continued

 

  • The Regional Settings: The regional settings box is where you
     is used for settings that are effected by the way different countries
     treat the date and time, currency and numbers. Many programs
     support regional settings and will display these properties according to your preferences.   The first tab is self explicit, and is
    where you will choose which region you are in from a drop down list. 

 

  • Number:    

    Different countries, use different systems of measurement, as well
    as possibly different symbols and, the way decimal points are used
    and more.  You can use this tab to set up the various ways numbers and values are treated.  You can then use the currency
    tab to specify the way numbers and decimals are treated to displays and calculate monetary values.
