I would use caution when selecting the next setting as I
could see how this could become very annoying. However for
some people it could save them some frustration.
Clicking on the ignore repeated keystrokes option Instructs
your computer to ignore repeated keystrokes that occur in
very rapid succession. In these cases,
all but the first keystroke will be ignored. To adjust the
interval at
which repeated keystrokes are recognized, click Settings.
This
feature, also called BounceKeys, is useful for people who
might
unintentionally cause the keys to bounce when pressed or
released due to involuntary hand movements.
Checking the box next to - ignore quick keystrokes and
slow down
the repeat rate box Instructs your computer to ignore keys
that are
pressed only briefly. To adjust how long a key must be
pressed
before the keystroke is accepted, click Settings. These
features,
sometimes referred to as RepeatKeys or SlowKeys, are useful
for
people who might press keys unintentionally because of
involuntary hand movements.
You can test your settings by typing in the text box.
