Tech is a community designed for teens ages 13 and up. We strive
to ensure the privacy and safety of all of our members. The following discloses the information gathering practices for this Web site:

Our Email Service
Youth Tech uses Everyone.net to provide
our email service. You can review their

The only
information Youth Tech has access to that you provide them is your
name and
email log in name. We do not have access to your password or other
information.
Youth Tech only uses this information for administration purposes.
You must be
at least 13 years of age to sign up for this service.
Personal Identifying information
Youth Tech has a firm policy regarding
personal Identifying Information.
(your last name, your address, your phone number,) We do not collect
this
information period. And discourage our members from disclosing
this
information at all times.
Some of our content forms require a first name and email address.
This
will only be used to contact the user if necessary to respond to a
question
or to send our newsletter or password for our message boards, when
requested.
Ours Clubs area does require your email
address when submitting a club. This will be posted along with
your club information on our site. You should ask you parents
permission before participating in our clubs area.
We will never send
unsolicited email advertisement, to our users. Your
information is never rented/sold or shared with any third party.
Children's Privacy
Youth Tech Recognizes
that children have special privacy protection needs. We urge all
parents to participate in their children's use of the Internet and
any online services, and to teach their children about protecting
their personal information while online. Parents should have clear
rules about what is and isn't ok to disclose online.

We require children under the age of 13 to obtain
verifiable parental consent before they can participate in our Message boards or
any other area where we require personal information.

We will only obtain an email address from a child under
the age of 13 to:
A) respond directly to the child's request on a one-time basis. Their
information will be deleted from our files
and not be kept.
B) Request the name or online contact information of a parent for the
purpose of obtaining verifiable parental
consent or providing parental
notification.
C) Respond more than once directly to a specific request from a
child
(such as in the case where a child requests
a newsletter subscription.)
and not be used to contact the child for
other purposes. We will use our
best effort to provide parental
notification, which will include the nature
and intended use as well as an opportunity
for the parent to prevent the
use and information and participation in
the activity.

We will provide the parent a description of the specific
types of personally identifiable information collected from their child upon
request. We will allow the parent to refuse further use or future online
collection of personally identifiable information collected from their child.

terms of what constitutes personal identifying information and discourage

unsuitable for children.

Our public forums will be monitored at least on a
floating basis, daily to ensure that personal Identifying information will not
remain posted. We remove any content containing last name, address or phone
numbers.

feel uncomfortable about any information asked from them online.
