This
is a members story from a parents point of view.Three
years ago
when my oldest child wanted to start using the
computer to go
online, I was skeptical. I myself knew very
little about the
the online world, with exception of the many
horror stories I
had heard. After speaking with a friend about
America Online I
decided this would be the way to go. I was
assured by my friend
that there were forums on AOL designed
just for the age group of
my child. That's how we came to find
Youth Tech. We have been
visiting Youth Tech together now
for three years. I'm not sure
who has learned more from this
experience, me or my children. My
third and youngest child
has just gotten to an age where she
also is interested in the
computer. I look forward to
introducing her to Youth Tech
and watching her enjoy all the fun
and vast information. Our
favorite area as a family is the top
ten, we look forward to it
weekly and many times have submitted
an entry. Thank you
