Okay, here goes..

I first found YT in early or mid 1997. That's when I got my first computer, a junky 100mHZ IBM thing.. yes, a thing. :P I wouldn't really consider it a computer.. but anyway.

I was being stupid since it was my first few days on AOL.. I was typing in a bunch of junk in the Keyword box.. for example, (rdgxg, er9e, la, me, ra, fd..) and 'yt' just happened to be one of the gibberish words I typed in.  Amazingly, "YT" was an actual keyword and not gibberish.

I entered the chatroom and was immediately hooked. :P
