Alrighty! My story! I have no
idea where to begin, or exactly which story to tell.. love or
friendship.. hm.. ;) Well here goes nothin! I've been coming to YT
for about 2 and a half years now. In June of 1998 I met an
interesting "character" in the room one way (mind you,
this is when YT was still on AOL :)) Anyways! This
"character's" name was Rick <g> He was
one of the "regulars" that hung around YT, and so was I,
and he was also a YTCC, but apparently our paths had never
crossed. So then we started
to get to know each other through IMs. One day Rick called me on
the phone, and it was basically love at first.. voice
<giggle> He was the nicest person I had ever met and I knew
I wanted to be his girl <g> The feelings were definitely
mutual, but we didn't want to have to go through the whole
"Internet Relationship" thing (been there done that
times two :x) so.. we wanted to meet each other in real life
before we would go any farther.
After that we just were really good friends.. until my birthday,
which was
in October. I had told my parents all about Rick, and behind my
back <g> they got a hold of Rick and had him come up here to
see me on my birthday as a big surprise! Well.. he came up and
there was love at first sight <giggle> And we've been
together ever since :) It's now been 1 year and 3 months <bg>
Without Youth Tech, we never would have met and neither of us
would have found happiness..
